As part of Cencora’s efforts to move to a more digital supply chain and improve our shared customer’s experience, we are thrilled to announce a pivotal enhancement in our operations — the introduction and integration of the blockchain-powered MediLedger network. 

This solution builds off our existing capabilities, fosters streamlined communications and collaboration, and creates alignment between our manufacturer, health system, and GPO partners; we’re transitioning towards a network that promises transparency and efficiency in product pricing.

The MediLedger network actively addresses current industry challenges including pricing and customer eligibility discrepancies while providing real return on investment; through this partnership, we expect a significant reduction in administrative waste and revenue leakage.

To make this transition successful, and beneficial for all, we need YOUR participation. We will be hosting information sessions in February 2024 and encourage you to go to the MediLedger website to learn more about this technology, the return on investment, and how you can get engaged. Our goal is to have all partners begin joining the network by March 1, 2024.
